Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting

The AGM is a great opportunity to present and evaluate this past year’s activities and to establish the goals for the coming year, also it is the moment to elect the new SBC Executive Committee. Your presence will be highly appreciated to hear your opinion and feedback and to reach a quorum of votes.
The AGM is organized to adapt the articles of association to the local requirements asked by DCC (Dubai Chamber of Commerce). During the AGM, Spanish Business Council members will vote the adaption of the articles of association.
After the AGM a light snack will follow

If you are unable to attend the SBC Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting please send the proxy (power of attorney) to ensure the Quorum for the Election of new board and the votation of the EGM.

VOTING RULES
For voting members and proxies:
Corporate and individual member (more than 6 months) are invited to vote
Only corporate members (more than 6 months) have the right to run for the executive committee
Each member can not hold more than 5 proxies.
ELECTION OF THE NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
During the AGM, Spanish Business Council members will elect 11 board members to form the Executive Committee.
If your company is a member before June 2020 and you want to become a SBC board member please send us the Candidacy form.
